The Neighborhood: Right outside your door in the small quaint Thai village of Mae Ann, there is laundry and taxi service plus 4 little village shops to buy basic necessities as well as beautiful walks through the hills and rice paddies.... not to mention the extremely friendly local Thai villagers.
Getting Around: It is best to have your own transportation although not necessary as The Pavana Resort has an inexpensive shuttle bus 3 times a week to and from downtown Chiang Mai to the old town's Tapee Gate near the Sunday Walking Market and the Night Bazaar.
It is possible to rent cars locally and they will deliver the car right to your front door. You can also rent motorbikes and pedal bikes on the premises.
